An iPhone app for your business that you own

A custom iOS app, published under your own Apple developer account. You own the code, the listing and the customer data. Scoped and quoted separately, after a Blueprint.

What it replaces

Whose name is on your app?

Some studios publish a client's app under their own Apple account. The listing, the reviews and the users sit in the studio's name, and if you part ways you start over.

We publish under yours. Your organization enrolls with Apple and is the Account Holder and seller of record. We join as a team member, with a named login and role for each person. A client app-store addendum puts the ownership in writing.

Apple also turns away apps that are just a website in a wrapper. So before we build, we ask whether a mobile site would do. Often it does, and then we say so.

What is in an iOS app build

Each line is written into your scope before you sign.

Published under your account

Your organization holds the Apple developer account. The listing, the reviews and the users sit in your name. We never ask for shared Apple IDs.

Built for one job

An app that does one thing well: a member card, booking with push reminders, reorder, a field checklist. The job has to justify an app over a website.

Shares your backend

The app reads the same data as your site or portal, so there is one source of truth.

Store review handled

We prepare the listing, the privacy details and a demo account for the reviewer, and answer review notes. The schedule allows for a second review round.

A runbook for the next developer

How the app is built, where the accounts are and how to release an update.

What is not in the price

Apple's membership, $99 a year, billed by Apple to you. An Android version is a separate scope. Hosting and App Care are separate monthly lines, quoted in your scope.

What it costs

Every app differs, so the price is a written fixed quote after scoping.

iOS app questions

Short answers, with the rules we read.

How much does it cost to develop an iOS app?

Every app is scoped, so we do not publish one number. A Blueprint produces a written scope, an acceptance checklist, a fixed quote and a clickable prototype that you own whether or not you build. It is $500 for a Focused scope and $1,500 for a Complete one, credited in full if you sign within 30 days. For comparison, no-code app builders list from about $32 to $440 a month (vendor pricing pages, checked 2026-10-15), but Apple's guidelines reject apps made by a template service unless the provider of the content submits them.

Do I need an LLC to launch an app?

Not to build one. An organization enrollment with Apple needs a legal entity, not a trade name, plus a D-U-N-S number and a website on a matching domain. Apps in regulated fields such as healthcare must be submitted by the organization that provides the service. If you trade under a name, plan the enrollment step before anything else (Apple Developer enrollment page, checked 2026-10-15). This is not legal advice about forming a company.

Do I need an app, or is a web app enough?

Often a mobile site or web app is enough, and then we say so and quote that instead. An app earns its place with push notifications, sign-in, a member card, reorder or device features. Apple rejects apps that are a repackaged website.

Who owns the app and the App Store listing?

You do. Your organization is the Account Holder and seller of record, and we are a team member. The code written for you is assigned to you on final payment, and licensed platform components are named in your statement of work. The Apple membership renewal is yours too, and if it lapses the app is removed from the store.

How long does App Store review take?

Apple reports reviewing at least half of submissions in under 24 hours and 90% in under 48 (Apple App Review page, checked 2026-10-15). A new app is sometimes sent back with notes on its first submission, so the schedule budgets two review rounds. The ship date is written after scoping, never before.
